Summer is fast approaching, especially here in Alberta. ☀️

It is VERY important to understand that dogs can suffer from heat stroke. 🐕

Some signs of heat stroke include red or pale gums, thick, sticky saliva, and rapid panting. 👅

Always make sure your dog has access to fresh, cool water especially when they are outside. 🌊

Monitor your dog and check how hot the pavement is with your hand before you take Fido on a walk. 🤚

If the pavement is too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws! 🐾

Head to Instagram to watch my video about heat stroke in dogs!
